Job Description
Technical work related to the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure, specifically in a  mainframe environment.. Ensures that hardware and/or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the customers. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. This position will work within a team and will help lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The person will typically reports to a manager work closely with project managers.

Our Client is transitioning to a new report online report distribution product, BMC’s product Control D. This RFS is for contracting services to assist with this conversion. DET is looking for a contractor who is knowledgeable with the technical internals of the Control D. We are requesting for someone skilled in the migration of a mainframe online report distribution product to BMC’s Control D product. Other skills for this consulting position include assisting customers with questions about the Control D product, problem resolution, and performance improvements within Control D.
